The conversion process is straightforward, but there are a few things that are beyond our direct control. If you are getting new service and not porting any old phone numbers over, then the process can be very fast – it takes us about five business days to get phones ready and programmed for you and depending on where you are, they can be on your desk shortly thereafter, ready to plug in to power and network and start being used.
If you are porting old numbers over, then we can still get you your new SmartVox phones in about a week, but we will have to wait for the porting process, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. On average, it takes about two weeks.
But don’t worry; we make this process painless and seamless. We’ll work with you to forward your existing numbers to new, temporary SmartVox numbers so that you can go ahead and get your new SmartVox phones up and running right away. Then, when the port finished, the old numbers instantly become SmartVox numbers, and you just keep working like you always did. No muss, no fuss, and we take care of all the hard stuff.
