What's better than a huge list of features that SmartVox hosted VoIP delivers? How about the fact that they are all included with your SmartVox service absolutely free!! This doesn't even including the custom programming that we can do to extend this feature set even more! SmartVox customers enjoy flexible, scalable, affordable phone service that allows you to communicate with your audience the way you want.

Some of these may sound daunting, and we’re working on a better way to describe all these things, but here’s the list of included features so far:

  • Admin/Config Portal
    • Just for managers, a dedicated portal that lets you control all of the functions of your phone system.
  • Call Announce
    • Caller information is read to you, giving you the option to decline the call. Great for forwarded calls.
  • Call Conferencing
    • Schedule a conference call and invite people to call in.
  • Call Continuity
    • Your system never stops working in the cloud, even if your office loses power or network connectivity.
  • Call Forwarding
    • Forward calls to a third-party so you never miss any calls.
  • Call Group
    • Calls can be sent to ring multiple extensions at once.
  • Call Hold
    • Put a call on hold while you attend to tasks, place another call, or answer another call.
  • Call Monitoring
    • Supervisors can listen in on calls for training or coaching purposes.
  • Call Park
    • Transfer a call to a “parking lot” that can be retrieved from another phone.
  • Call Pass
    • Transfer calls taken on your mobile device back to your desktop phone without interruption.
  • Call Queues
    • Be just like the big companies with a support (or other purpose) queue for your customers. Calls go in the queue until they can be answered.
  • Call Screening
    • Know who’s calling you before you answer. Send to voicemail if you don’t want to answer.
  • Call Tagging
    • Add a tag to the caller ID based on what number the caller dialed. Great for having one person perform multiple roles such as sales and support.
  • Call Transfer
    • Transfer calls with or without alerting the calling party (blind or attended).

  • Follow Me
    • Calls can be forwarded to multiple numbers that will ring in sequence or all at once.
  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Menus
    • “Press 1 for sales, or 2 for support” just like the big companies. Can also be used to provide access to phone system features while at remote locations.
  • Local Number Portability (LNP)

    • Inbound and outbound calls can be recorded always or on demand (subject to local, state, and federal regulations).
  • Detailed Call Logs
    • Know exactly what calls were made and by whom. Great for offices that provide phone service to tenants.
  • SmartPix™ Integration
    • Where available, the phone will display a picture of the calling party.
  • Virtual Mailboxes
    • Use virtual email boxes to capture incoming calls or provide service that don’t require physical phones.
